Chicago’s Chef Bill Kim of urbanbelly and belly Q will be in the Bay Area as part of a book tour for his latest project, Korean BBQ: Master Your Grill in Seven Sauces. While in town, Chef Bill will be collaborating with us at Itani Ramen in two exciting ways!

During his visit to the Bay, Chef Bill Kim will host a special izakaya dinner with Chef Kyle here at ITANI on Saturday, May 12. The chefs will prepare an izakaya style menu including cocktail pairings, which can be viewed below. The menu features dishes inspired by recipes in Chef Bill's cookbook, Korean BBQ: Master Your Grill in Seven Sauces, which will be available for sale that evening. Seating for this collaboration dinner is extremely limited and will be $45 per person (including cocktail pairings; excluding tax + gratuity).

Award-winning chefs Bill Kim of Chicago’s bellyQ and urbanbelly is teaming up our very own Chef Kyle Itani and our friends at Caviar for an exclusive cross-country promotion: a special dish, Coconut Curry Ramen, available only in the Bay Area via Caviar May 10-12.
This is the first time Caviar is merging concepts cross-country with two top restaurants, and it’s the only chance for diners to try the chefs’ collaborative dish, a mash-up of Kim’s beloved coconut curry pho and Itani’s famous ramen.
